Our school offers unparalleled training in all forms of dance and acting. All dance students receive supportive, encouraging, and detailed training with emphasis on correct technique and artistry. In almost all cases, skill takes precedence over age when PDT determines a dancer's level.
BALLET
Our ballet program
is second to none and provides the base for most other forms of dance. Whether a student desires to train for a professional
career or takes ballet for fun and fitness, PDT's ballet classes are among the
best in the country.
Our advanced ballet students have been accepted to the top summer intensives
in the country. These include: Kaatsban; American Ballet Theater in NYC, Atlanta, Detroit
and California; Joffrey; Julliard; Boston Summer Dance, Boston Dance
Lab; Orlando Ballet; Miami City Ballet; San Francisco Ballet; Pittsburgh
Ballet Theater; Atlanta Ballet; North Carolina School of the Arts; American
Academy of Ballet; Sarasota Ballet; and Richmond Ballet. Three of our graduating dancers are trainees for the esteemed professional companies, Orlando Ballet and Ballet Met.
A trial or placement class is necessary before registering for Ballet 3 and above.

is used and creativity is encouraged.

Princeton Dance and Theater Studio is now affiliated with JW Actors Studio. JW Actors Studio will follow in the tradition of excellence established by Princeton Dance and Theater Studio.
